Anglo Malagasy Society present a talk from Brian Donaldson - the last British Ambassador in Madagascar

Brian Donaldson, the last ambassador to Madagascar will explain the situation in Madagascar and the work and objectives of the Embassy after his arrival in October 2002; the lead up to the decision taken in December 2004 to close the Embassy and its aftermath; and his work with the President of Madagascars Small Grants Scheme since his retirement from HM Diplomatic Service in November 2005 after 40 years service, more than 20 of which were spent in Africa
